This project was a blast! It allowed me to practice a bunch of my new found tech skills and apply them to something I care about. It also gave me an excuse to sit down with my father and reminisce about life when he was a boy. When I initially asked him to tell me a story about his childhood his eyes lit up. Day to day we have normal conversations about his job, my classes, or the weather, but rarely does the floor open up for old-fashioned stories of my days as a kiddo. It was a great experience and I look forward to having my students make their own projects in the future.
